Chi-square Test

The first step when opening the nQuery program is to click File and then New.

A dialog box will appear that looks like this:

Since we intend to perform a chi-square test with two groups and three categories with unequal frequencies, we would check off Proportions, >Two Groups, Test, and the box at the bottom of the page for Unequal n’s. Upon doing this, 3 options will appear in the lower box. Choose the following:

• G group Chi-square test comparing proportions in C categories   (See below)
• Then, click OK
